The Paul Popham Fund Renal Support Wales is pleased to announce the launch of ‘Virtual Transplant Cafes’, as face-to-face meetings have been suspended due to the coronavirus.
There are three available, aimed at helping everyone undergoing any stage of the kidney transplantation process, including family and friends:

To join the group and virtual meetings where you can gain support from your peers in a confidential and private space, type the address into your internet browser, or go to Facebook, search ‘home therapies kidney café’ and request access.
Kidney Café Parents & Carers Group – Support group for parents and carers of children with kidney disease.
To join the group and virtual meetings where you can gain support from your peers in a confidential and private space, type the address into your internet browser, or go to Facebook, search ‘kidney café parents and carers’ and request access.

All of these cafes offer an opportunity for kidney patients to meet their peers within the kidney transplant service who are going through similar experiences. Team members from the transplant service will be available to offer advice and information. Friends and family are also welcome.
